Specification Center · Loads
BeamGate Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner. This center is a load and document worksheet for buyers comparing alternatives. It is not a structural design, not a code approval, and not a supply offer for the searched brand.
Not the referenced brand. The desk does not claim authorized dealer status. We compare alternative products against the criteria you provide.

Project engineer, geotechnical note, or jurisdiction table. A blank source means the number is not yet usable.
Design live load and design dead load are not wind speed. Write each with its unit.
Wind exposure category and ground snow load travel with the site, not with a standard house plan.
Seismic design category A through F only when the project criteria say so. Do not copy a neighboring county.
The supplier shows how the primary frame, purlin, and girt change, or states that the published member still covers the criteria.
| Gravity | |
|---|---|
| Design live load | Floor use in psf or kN/m2, from the project, not from a brochure photo. |
| Design dead load | Include the ceiling, floor finish, and equipment the buyer will add after delivery. |
| Lateral and environmental | |
| Wind speed | Value, exposure category, and the code edition the engineer used. |
| Ground snow load | Site value. Drift conditions at a taller neighbor stay as an open question if unknown. |
| Seismic design category | Category plus the site class if the geotechnical note provides it. |
| Members and envelope | |
| Primary frame | Hot-rolled steel or cold-formed steel, grade, and whether the system is a rigid frame. |
| Secondary framing | Purlin and girt spacing, and the cladding weight they were selected for. |
| Thermal and fire | Thermal transmittance or R-value target, and a fire-resistance rating only when a tested assembly is in the quote. |
| What an alternative must still show | |
| Deviation list | Every substituted member, opening, or foundation interface, marked included, excluded, or awaiting confirmation. |
| Document link | Drawing number that matches the priced bill. A general AISC 360 or AWS D1.1 citation without that link is incomplete. |
Volumetric modules move more of the finish off site and make the transport envelope and crane lift plan decisive. Panelized construction can reduce shipping bulk and moves weather exposure onto the site. A standardized module is easier to compare when its published dimensions fit. A custom span or an unusual snow load needs project-specific engineering. Shell pricing leaves foundation, utilities, and installation with the buyer. A turnkey ask still fails if those items are only implied.
Any load without a source, any code edition not named, and any choice between volumetric and panelized construction. Also open: shell versus a wider package, and the steel grade until the supplier writes it for the quoted members.
That the drawing set, the load table, and the price lines describe one system. Check module dimensions against the transport route and the foundation interface against the site. Confirm the supplier did not silently drop insulation performance or a fire assembly.
No. IBC, IRC, HUD Code, and ASCE 7 are references to request and review with the authority having jurisdiction and the project engineer. BeamGate Sourcing does not stamp drawings.
